At the intersection of contemporary technological advancement and human desires, Kota Ishida is carving out a new horizon for art. Through the adept fusion of AI technology and 3D printing, his method gives rise to a special form of art called 'Photographic Sculpture.' In an age where physical distances have lost their significance, his creations reflect our yearning for a tangible touch.
With Ishida's touch, stories hidden behind a single photograph, distant moments and departed ones, are revived in the form of sculptures. His works offer us the tangible sensations of 'moments passed by' and 'longed-for reunions' simply by our touch. The subtle discrepancies and digital nuances between the photograph and the sculpture bestow a special depth upon his pieces.
